Designed for children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old.
For children under the age of 5, drowning is a leading cause of accidental death. Thus learning basic swimming skills for toddlers can help prevent accidental injury or even death. Your children can learn all the necessary techniques in water with fun and comfort as we prioritize their safety first and also give them a friendly environment at Tatsuki Swimming School. The Water Tots curriculum helps your child succeed in swimming. Each level contains a series of skills that will first help them to be safe in the water and then improve their technique.
Toddlers between the ages of 3 and 5 have tremendous excitement and energy. They love to play and they also have good endurance. They are not very fearful at this age and want to experiment, jump and play in the water immediately and then realize that they are not ready yet. And later a little bit of fear begins to set in. Getting toddlers into a swim class will help them to overcome their water fear and teach them safety techniques for being in or near water.
Tatsuki Swimming School offers three levels for Water Tots: Beginners, Runner-up, and Bronze. Starting from the Beginner’s level which focuses on water safety, the swimmer will become comfortable in water, learn to float, hold their breath, and submerge underwater. The Runner Up level introduces swimming techniques as well as the prerequisites for learning the competitive strokes. At this level, the student will perfect his floating technique, learn to streamline, and be able to swim 15 feet through the water unassisted. At the Bronze level, swimmers will learn the freestyle and backstroke. They will be able to swim independently for 30 feet through the water.
So without any further waiting, get your children enrolled in our toddler swimming lessons!
